About the training:

The 2009 Adoption Training & Matching Meeting provides training and information on some of today’s most important adoption issues. This event focuses on supporting, strengthening and bringing together child welfare professionals from across the state who are responsible for or contribute to permanency planning. With this training we hope to increase the knowledge and skills concerning adoption issues and services for adoptive families. This event will also provide networking opportunities for making matches of children in need of a permanent home with waiting families. Adoption professionals feature families and children through displays and videos in order to encourage matches for adoptions. During the Family Night Session, there is an opportunity for professionals to interact with families who are interested in adoption. This training features nationally known speakers and concurrent workshops on topics critical to adoption practice.
